The Brazilian Supreme Court has found the former president, Jair Bolsonaro guilty of leading an armed criminal group and attempting a coup after losing the 2022 election.

Three out of five judges voted to convict him and sentencing is expected on Friday, local time.

The former president, who's currently under house arrest, could face decades behind bars. He has always denied the charges and is expected to appeal the decision.
