Bombs Away

The boys take on all the girls in the 80's Police Academy skin comedy Vice Academy (1989) directed by Rick Sloane and starring Linnea Quigley, Ginger Lynn, Karen Russell, and Karen Russell. Is there a police academy that allows cadets to arrest people before graduation? How could a sex comedy be so unfunny and so not sexy? How did this movie wrap itself up and then keep going for another 45 minutes? All these questions and more are answered this week!

The boys sit down to discuss the sensitive topic of comedy vs. sensitivity in today's climate before introducing February's four movies.

Jarrett January concludes with the virtual reality science fiction version of a Tales From The Crypt trilogy Future Shock (1994) directed by Eric Parkinson, Oley Sassone, and Matt Reeves, and starring Vivian Schilling, Martin Kove, Brion James, and Bill Paxton. What is the true intention of the program? How many famous people owed a debt to the devil and this was it? Why is the deleted scene the best scene of the entire movie? All these questions and more are answered this week!

Jonathan and Jarrett welcome new hosts Vicente and Tyler to the show to take on a month of picks by Jarrett starting with the Disney Attraction turned major motion picture The Haunted Mansion (2003) Directed Rob Minkoff and starring Eddie Murphy,  Terence Stamp, Nathaniel Parker, and Marsha Thomason. How could you have so much intellectual property to build on and use so little? Why go the route of deliberate racism in the plot just to justify the casting of Eddie Murphy and family?  Why does this movie have a Pirates of the Caribbean scene? All these questions and more are answered this week!
