We are immensely pleased to welcome our friend Al Strobel in our Guest Mix series. Al, who portrays the mysterious MIKE/Phillip M. Gerard in Twin Peaks, is indeed a faithful member of our Lynchland community, and he very kindly agreed to share some of his favorite songs with us. His musical tastes run from symphonies and opera (Malher, Strauss, Verdi, Bernstein) to satirical music (Spike Jones), traditional african praise songs, 60s rock music (Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Beatles and the Rolling Stones) and some of the most visceral, authentic blues music (Leadbelly, Big Bill Bronzy, Brownie McGhee & Sonny Terry).
