On this week's episode, Bone is back from Tennessee (or is he???) and Beam has left Prince William long enough to join for some soccer discussion. First things first - the Crew are BACK, Scoring goals and winning games in ways we haven't seen since the 90s. Which is appropriate, given the team is celebrating 90s night at the stadium this weekend.

The guys briefly broke down the matchup with New England, and Bone discussed some listener mail he received.

Then, the discussion turned to the idea of MLS teams all chipping in to pay for Lionel Messi's salary. Which is dumb (spoiler alert). Finally, the guys talked about Arsenal, Manchester City, and the battle for the top of the Premier League.

Happy Soccer Podcast Day! On this week's show, Bone is joined by Pat Murphy of Massive Report, with Beam still on Dad Duty. On this episode, the guys recap the Crew's 1-1 tie against Toronto FC from last weekend and then they preview their upcoming match against the New York Red Bulls (9:58).

Next, they discuss the ridiculousness that is Erling Haaland, including his five goal game against RB Leipzig and some absurd stats that further show his dominance (26:49).

Then, they discuss the latest report on the Berhalter vs Reyna family feud (38:00). Finally, the guys close the show with a soul cleanse as good as any- making fun of Austin FC (1:00:09).

In this episode, Brandon Beam is officially out of the lineup with "Having a baby" and we couldn't be happier for him. In his stead, Bone invited his longtime friend Sameh Fahmi, who is talented photographer, musician, and most relevant to this discussion, one of the driving forces behind the Massive Report podcast and website. Sam has been covering the Crew in some capacity since 2008, and if you've been at a Crew game in that time period, you've most likely seen him at games carrying his cameras and snapping photos.

Sam and Bone discussed the Crew's recent 2-0 demolition of DC United on Crewsmas, and then talked about a variety of topics, including Sam's perspective as a fan who grew up in Egypt rooting for Al Ahly. Sam told a good number of stories, including what it was like to cover David Beckham and interview Thierry Henry; how the experience of attending Crew games is different from going to games around the world; and how a couple of Argentine soccer legends found their way into Sam's basement. On this week's episode, the guys lay out the plan for Beam, who will be off for a few weeks with the arrival of his newborn. They discussed Beam's love for Wayne Rooney (but also, his desire to fight the Manchester United legend who now coaches DC United), Bone's thoughts on separating the Haslams from the Crew, Apple TV in it's first week, and even a look around MLS after one week.

Then, they switched gears and talked some European soccer - specifically how Arsenal is still the team to beat, Manchester United won an energy drink challenge, and Chelsea spent a boatload of cash for not a lot of goals.

On this week's episode, Bone and Beam begin with MLS, as the season is right around the corner. The guys tell you why they're not all that excited for the start of the Columbus Crew season, their frustrations with the Jonathan Mensah trade, resentment towards ownership, and more (2:48).

Next, they discuss the wild sequence in the Rangers vs Patrick Thistle match, something they both agree they've never quite seen before (18:22). The guys move on to Southampton nearly hiring Jesse Marsch and why the club likely decided not to. Along with that, they continue the campaign for Marsch to become the next USMNT manager (30:00). After that, they get into the Premier League, taking a look at the current table, Arsenal's recent struggles, and why their confidence currently sits with Manchester City (39:12).

Then, the guys move to the Champions League, diving through the start of the Round of 16 results & Beam needs some gambling advice (43:45). Finally, they debate whether or not they think Neymar could make it in the Premier League, with Chelsea reportedly having interest in acquiring him (53:18).
