Happy Soccer Podcast Day! On this week’s show, the guys open up talking Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Manchester United. Beam is still a little depressed over the loss, plus the guys give credit to Mikel Arteta for the job he’s done with Arsenal and talk about how great of a player Bukayo Saka is (3:00).
They transition the Saka topic into “Our Guys”, discussing some players that different fan bases have fallen in love with over the years, even if that player wasn’t necessarily the most talented guy on the team (11:15).
Next, they talk Gio Reyna’s celebration mocking Greg Berhalter and why it’d be sorta awesome if Jose Mourinho became the next USMNT manager (15:15). After that, they get back into the Greg Berhalter situation, and break down how the entire thing could’ve been handled better from the start in multiple ways (18:50).
Then, they talk upcoming friendlies for the USMNT plus what they’d like to see happen with the roster over the next 12-18 months(25:30). Finally, they close on the USWNT, with the Women’s World Cup coming up this summer (32:15).

Happy Soccer Podcast Day!
On this week's show, Bone & Beam open up talking about...movies (and no, not soccer movies). The guys talk about the 2008 flick Burn After Reading, their love of the film, and other movies that they regard as "litmus test" movies (1:25).
Then, they get into the soccer, as Beam was fired up about Manchester United's 2-1 win over Manchester City and they examine the club's culture turnaround this season (13:26). After the guys review Leeds United's struggles this season and reports of the team turning on manager Jesse Marsch (25:07), they transition from that into talking about clubs such as West Ham & Everton being at the bottom of the Premier League table, and have a discussion about relegation for those clubs and more (30:45).
Next, they talk about Jurgen Klinsmann's comments on the Greg Berhalter-Reyna family situation and talk a little USMNT (36:46). Finally, the guys close with the fan who spent $2.6 million on a VIP ticket to watch the exhibition match between PSG vs. Riyadh All-Star XI (44:44).

Happy Soccer Podcast Day! This week on the podcast, the guys discussed the New Year, World Cup Final, and Pele. Unfortunately, after we recorded this episode, news broke with Gregg Berhalter and US Soccer. The guys will have plenty to say about all of that in next week's episode.
Happy Soccer Podcast day! On this week's episode, Bone & Beam start off with Morocco's win over Spain in penalties (3:15). They also spend a few minutes on how much they've hated Fox's coverage of the World Cup this year and some other thoughts on the broadcasting of the games (13:11).
Next, they discuss Portugal's 6-1 win over Switzerland, but more in particular the Cristiano Ronaldo benching and how his ego has once again gotten in the way of his career (19:42). After that, the guys preview the upcoming matches in the quarter-finals of the World Cup (33:00).
Finally, they spend the last part of the show discussing the hiring of Wilfried Nancy by the Crew, why they're excited about the hire, and why he seems like a great fit for Columbus (42:24)

Happy Soccer Podcast Day...well, kind of. We're trying to think good thoughts after the US loses to the Netherlands 3-1, but it frankly isn't easy. Bone and Beam unpack what went wrong for the US Men's National Team, where the mistakes were made, and what changes they would have made to avoid this loss.
Then they take turns looking at the decisions from Gregg Berhalter, and question whether or not he should be the guy to lead the USMNT into the 2026 World Cup cycle.
It's going to be a long three and a half years until the next World Cup for the men's team. But we're already looking forward to seeing what they can do with more growth over that time.

Happy Soccer Podcast Day! Groups E and F were quite the thing! Japan wins Group E with victories over Germany and Spain (why bother talking about that loss to Costa Rica?), but they didn't win without controversy! Bone and Beam talked about goal line technology, VAR and much much more on that storyline. And Spain survived the group basically on the strength of their opening win over Costa Rica, as goal differential allowed them to get the second spot in this group ahead of Germany, who looked for a few minutes like they might just lose to Costa Rica.
Meanwhile, Belgium is distraught as they are eliminated, despite some brilliant chances for some of their stars. Morocco continues to impress, and they along with Croatia found their way through in Group F. And unfortunately for Canadian fans, their World Cup really never got going, as they lost all three of their games.
