In the first episode of a special two-part series, People Who Bleed, Sara and Marshall speak with experts and advocates about menstrual inequity and period poverty, the importance of inclusive, gender-neutral period language, normalizing the conversation, and the Kitchener-based company, Diva Cup, named one of Canada’s greenest employers.
Part one of People Who Bleed includes guests Carly Friesen, the Social Impact and Sustainability Manager at Diva International, Dr. Joanna Thiessen, owner of George Street Naturopathic Medicine in Waterloo, and Maddy Taylor, a sexual health educator at SHORE Centre in Kitchener.
