Dr. Jen Bigman sits down with me in this bonus episode to discuss her graduate career studying under Dr. David Ebert and how she was inspired by the way Dave discussed the life history of sharks so much that she wanted to pursue similar interests.

After graduating with a Master's at Moss Landing studying with Dave, she went on to do a Ph.D. at Simon Fraser University with Dr. Nick Dulvey. New graduated with her doctorate, Jen is moving on to work as a Post-doc at NOAA to study Bearing Sea fisheries.
