From August seventh to September tenth, 1888, a crazed killer who came to be known as "Jack the Ripper” terrorized the Whitechapel district of London's impoverished East End. This extremely violent sadist brutally killed at least five prostitutes, mutilating their bodies in a highly unusual manner.
