Revelations of violent, sexist and misogynistic conduct in Parliament House have rocked Australia, leading tens of thousands to the streets to protest and dominating the news agenda. Meanwhile, in the UK, there has been an outpouring of grief and anger in response to the murder of Sarah Everard, with calls for the government and police to better protect women.
