Martyrs is a very polarizing horror movie in the category of French Extremity. Director Pascal Laugier takes the viewer on a journey of a lifetime from revenge, to the exploration of trauma, to torture, to finally arrive at transcendence. Spoiler alerts, if you have not seen then movie then I urge you to watch it first. This movie may be very upsetting for some viewers, please exercise caution and self care while viewing.
