Today we are talking about the insane story of Louie Zamperini as told in Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand. WARNING: This book discusses physical abuse and crimes against humanity. Louis's story is literally insane and the fact that not one but two people survived what he went through is mind blowing. Listen to hear about just how much the human body can endure and how proactive sharks can be when trying to eat someone.

We are talking about the Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie 1999 classic, Girl, Interrupted. After reading the book, we had some thoughts on the movie adaptation, and we are almost always "the book is better' bitches so listen up to find out what the movie changed, thoughts on how the Vietnam war draft went, and a super cute 1960's apartment. Today we are talking about "Girl, Interrupted" by Susanna Kaysen, which discuss her time at a hospital for rich people but more importantly discusses mental illness. It has chicken, questionable bones, and laxatives so it is for sure worth the listen.

Today's story time starts with a throwback and ends with a mystery cat. Sydney tells us about the 12th Magic Treehouse book, "Polar Bears Past Bedtime" which is not how we remember it. And Delaney tells us about "Tiger Cat" a story she found on the internet that is wild and leaves us with some questions.

Today we're talking about the book that tells you about how rich people live and why Montana is the best, Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive by Stephanie Land. If you have ever told a person using government assessment "you're welcome" you should already know how much you suck but just in case, listen to this episode and read this book and be better, thx.
PS: lots of dog interruptions in this one, sorry.

The people of Mount Vernon might hate him but the world loved him, today we are talking about Colton Harris Moore aka the Barefoot Bandit. He stole America's hearts one plane at a time but didn't escape the feds in the end. An impressive teenager, he went downhill in the year 2016, it is a true shame when you get to know your hero's.

Today Sydney talks about a wild Chuck Palanuhik story about a bunch of racists and a wonderful deal on a mop and Delaney has a classic evil step mother story where she turns her kids into animals who then don't speak out when they are about to be slaughtered, even though they can literally talk!!
