Season 1 of Hawaii Five-O is winding down with episode 22 "Not That Much Different" and episode 23 "Six Kilos". There's peace demonstrators, a shooting, a heist, and Steve undercover in some very fetching aloha shirts. Quality entertainment.

Episode 11 is another long one, this time because I'm covering three episodes: "Along Came Joey" and the two-parter "Once Upon a Time". These eps will put your emotions through the ringer, so gird your loins accordingly.

Episode 10 is extra long and extra special due to very special guest Dan Budnik from the Eventually Supertrain podcast joining me to talk about two of my favorite episodes from the first season, "The Box" and "One for the Money". Spoiler alert! We talk about the endings of both of these eps. "The Box" spoilers run from about 50:34 to 58:27. "One for the Money" spoilers happen from about 1:53:04 to 1:59:38.

In this out-of-the-norm episode, I talk about "Face of the Dragon" before switching to the pilot episode of the 2010 reboot, aptly titled "Pilot". The plague, Uncle Fester, human trafficking, Spike and Daryl, arms dealing, espionage, shaved ice...there's a lot going on here.

Episode 8 of Book 'em, Danno is full of...well...Danno. First he's shot and held hostage in "King of the Hill". Then he goes undercover after failing to save a young woman in "Uptight". Come for the Yaphet Kotto excellence, stay for the acid trips.

Episode 7 of Book 'em, Danno features two more episodes from Season 1: "Deathwatch" and "Pray Love Remember, Pray Love Remember". Come for Nehemiah Persoff and James Shigeta being smug bastards, stay to have your heart broken by Denny Miller and Ron Feinberg.

The stakes are high in episode 6 of Book 'em, Danno as Johnny Crawford gets into some serious trouble in "By the Numbers" and the team works overtime to find out who shot Steve in "Yesterday Died and Tomorrow Won't Be Born."

Episode 5 of Book 'em, Danno is all about "The Ways of Love" and "No Blue Skies". Dating men with criminal tendencies can be hazardous to your health and theirs.

Things get heavy for episode 4 of Book 'em, Danno, which covers "...And They Painted Daisies on His Coffin" and "24 Karat Kill". Danny is at the center of a police involved shooting, there's a convoluted plot involving smuggling gold in fish, and Big Chicken isn't the only fowl in town.

Episode 3 of Book 'em, Danno discusses "Tiger By the Tail" and "Samurai". Sal Mineo with terrible friends and Ricardo Montalban with fake eyelids. Because we all make questionable life choices sometimes.
