Today's episode is an author interview celebrating the debut of author Sophie Riley! INTEOTW is a zombie-apocalypse, mother-daughter road trip novel for YA (and older) audiences. It has discussions of familial relationships with careful coverage of the ways in which parents can become distant from their children, and the things that can sometimes bring us back together. Also while discussing wilderness 'therapy' camps, the dynamics between strangers at the end of the world, and ultimately the ways that our younger generations are faced by challenges much smaller, but much harder, than the end of the world.

We went on a biiiig ramble today but talked about the different ways people plan (or don't) their novels. And how those sorts of ways also impact how we view art, and people, and how progress is made on and off the page.socials:holly.eondaisyinkbooks
Sorry if you saw the mis-titled version! This is an episode where we spoke about our bookshop plans

This episode is all about the differences between handwriting, typing, or doing whatever kind of writing works best for your productivity! It was interesting to think back on our lives and how we used to write compared to now - with our writing software that we didn't have any concept of as kids - and to just generally think about how writing as a skill differs between mediumssocials:

This episode we talked about one of the classics: 'Jane Eyre'. Specifically, we touch on the representation of Jane and Bertha, the way in which our family circumstances dictate our experiences with life, and a little bit about AI slop plaguing the internet.

This episode is all about #bookmarketing and how to not only promote your books, but also YOU, the author. The topic is one we've both struggled with in the various stages of publishing our books, and in trying out all the different platforms out there, but we did our best to give some advice and talk through our experiences. xoxo rambles girls

In this episode, we chatted with the author of 'Venus Fly Trap', Emma Medrano. Her books is a descent into obsession with queer characters, autism rep that shows the messy truth of the disability, and a story that has more twists than you are prepared for. Also! We spoke for a bit about what it is to be a trad-pubbed author, and how sometimes the road to success isn't a linear one.

In this episode, we talk all about feedback and rejection - how to know whether it is a sign to change your work, go back to the drawing board, and what it means about you as a writer.

In this episode, which was livestreamed, we talked all things Jurassic and about the most famous, unethical wildlife park in the literary world. This upload officially counts as episode one and episodes will be weekly from here!
For the final episode of Season Two, we looked back on the first year of the podcast, on writing, and also looking ahead to the plans we have for the future. We've done a lot of things that we're proud of, and have come a long way from where we were when we began this podcast. Thanks to you all for a lovely two seasons to start off with. And if you know why the name of this episode is what it is, Holly loves you. :)
