Welcome to Episode 69 (ooh-la-la). We're back from our big South American trip and we have read a very mixed bag of books this month, including more modern books than we normally cover (mostly so we could abandon them in various hostels).

Books discussed include:

- Lady L. (Romain Gary, 1958)

- Excalibur (Peter Gibbons, 2024)

- Coda (Stephen Seidenberg, 2025)

- The Girl In The Castle (James Patterson & Emily Raymond, 2022)

- 22 Seconds (James Patterson & Maxine Paetro, 2022)

- The Istanbul Puzzle (Laurence O'Bryan, 2012)

- Steppenwolf (Hermann Hesse, 1927)

- The Journal of Madame Giovanni (Alexandre Dumas, 1856 )

- The Wings Of A Dove (Christopher Taylor, 1963).
