Welcome to our bonus episode!

We ask each other some bookish questions and picked our two favorite reads from 2023.

Cattie's questions:
 - If you had a chance to publish a book, what genre would it be?
 - What particular book scene would you like to change?
 - What was a book that redeemed itself the most by the end?

Oaky's questions:
- What is a trope that you do not like?
- Was there a book you read that was underwhelming, didn't live up to the hype?
- Which book did you read that you would want to see turn into a movie or series?

Cattie's 2023 Top 2 Picks:
- The Guncle by Steven Rowley
- Counterfeit by Kristin Chen

Oaky's 2023 Top 2 Picks:
- Things We Do in the Dark by Jennifer Hillier
- Puzzle House by Duncan Ralston

A week behind on this November 2023 book discussion, but it's here!

We couldn't figure out a recording schedule that worked well with author Castiel Skull, but we promise that it will happen one of these days. So sorry about this. But in the mean time, enjoy our buddy read book discussion! These short stories from author Glen Picotte will make you enjoy short horror stories even more.
