Now airing on Tuesdays, Books for Breakfast is back with all new content (none of which relates to books) and even more laughter. This episode features only Megan and Jude while Jess is away on vacation. The two ladies recap every episode you missed of season one and tease what's to come in the second season. 

Co-hosts Megan, Jess, and Jude reflect on the first season of Books for Breakfast as it comes to an end. This episode focused on the different types of endings most commonly used in literature and films. The girls shared their favorite and least favorite conclusions, as well as shared what they learned from this season. Don't be too sad because season two is just around the corner!

Co-hosts Megan, Jess, and Jude interview licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Deborah Diament to discuss how reading impacts mental health. Dr. Diament answers interesting questions such as how mature themes in novels can affect younger readers. She also discusses the importance of broadening worldviews through literature.

Co-hosts Megan, Jess, and Jude navigate time zones to interview Best Selling YA author of "The Oremere Chronicles" and "Curse of The Cyren Queen," Helen Scheuerer. Helen explains how to use beans and rice to create world maps, where her inspiration comes from, and the beauty of New Zealand. 

Co-hosts Megan, Jess, and Jude analyze the wide variety of tropes in literature including the classics like "love triangles" to the more modern "one-bed" trope. The girls provide examples for each as well as decide which ones they like and which ones they hate. 

Co-hosts Megan, Jess, and Jude posted several polls on their Instagram and review the results in this episode.
