Have you ever lost a library book?  How about running a small hustle in your neighborhood when you were younger?  In “Arthur’s Lost Library Book”, Arthur finds out the hard way what happens when you check out one too many books, in my opinion, because he ends up losing the one book that everyone else wanted to read.  We then find out how Arthur inevitably gets his best furry friend, Pal.  But first, he’s gotta be able to take care of one finicky, grumpy pooch named Perky.  Among several other pets since he opened “Arthur’s Pet Business.”

Okay, I’ll really try not to make this into too much of a habit. But I did want to just thank some of the folks with YouTube channels that inspired me to start this podcast.  And to keep with the nostalgic theme, I go over a couple of really fond memories from my childhood.   I may eventually move my content to YouTube but for now, I think I want to stay here.

We get our first non-Arthur centric coupling in this episode where I talk about “Buster’s Dino Dilemma” and “DW’s Imaginary Friend”.  Buster Baxter, probably among Arthur’s closest friends, is stoked about dinosaurs and he lets his obsession take over.  I also cover “DW’s Imaginary Friend” which Arthur eventually shows off his good big brother side in the end, while also being the episode that had the promo footage for the cartoon series.

Have you ever had to do something so important that you started feeling a little scared?  In this episode, I want to cover “Arthur’s Spelling Trubble” and “DW All Wet”, which would have made a good combo episode like “Arthur’s Eyes” and “Francine’s Bad Hair Day” since an underlying moral to these two stories is about facing one’s fears.
