The Yankees beat the Mets last night and it was a perfect example of what the Mets season is right now. Max Scherzer had another bad start and couldn’t get out of the fourth inning. And then Francisco Lindor struck out in the 8th inning with the bases loaded. That’s where they are right now. Scherzer’s best days are behind him. Lindor’s best days are behind him. Gio is going to emotionally detach as a Mets fan and will not allow them to ruin his Summer. He may emotionally reattach at some point and he’s earned the right to do that as a longtime Mets fan. Gio said Max Scherzer will ride off into the sunset leaving orange and blue rubble behind. Gio has had a great 2023 so far and he is not going to let the Mets ruin it. Yesterday Boomer & Gio golfed in a charity event for Winters Bros. Boomer said Gio slowed down the round of golf but he said that’s not true. Boomer said Gio took a bunch of shots at him when he was doing live auction items. Gio’s ‘Top 5 Moments’ didn’t include Boomer. A caller said it took him 3 hours to get to the game, then someone was in his seat.
