Gio is happy to have his Sundays back now that the NFL is over. They did talk about the XFL starting tomorrow. John Skipper, formerly of ESPN, said the Super Bowl should be on PPV instead of network TV. We talked about parties and Al said he never went to a party in high school or college. Boomer, being the Terps QB, went to a bunch of parties. Jerry returns for his final update and Gio tells him he has to get involved for pickleball. Aaron Boone talked about the passing of Tim McCarver. Jacob deGrom is already missing some spring training with the Rangers due to his constant injuries. Gio dove for a ball in pickleball, and the girl who hit it called in. In the final segment of the show, Brian Daboll hired one of his sons to join the coaching staff. Boomer said this happens all the time and is not odd.

Hour 3:

We talked about athletes and money and how ridiculous it is, but because of the salary cap and how it affects the players teams get, we have to talk about it. Callers complain about the salaries of athletes and the price of tickets (blah blah blah). Jerry returns for an update but first we talk about CP The Fanchise filling in for Craig today during Carton & Roberts. Gio found out yesterday that Sal proposed to his wife while he was naked. Evan cried during his proposal to his wife. Does Evan think about Mets players in order to get in the mood sexually? Spike worked with a guy that would get aroused when he got angry. Howie Roseman talked about the condition of the field and cannot blame the loss on that as both teams played on the same field. Brian Flores talked about deciding to go to the Vikings. Hour 2:

Boomer asks Gio, going into this season, who’s the better quarterback, Daniel Jones or Derek Carr? Gio doesn’t want to pay Saquon Barkley a lot of money. There are not a lot of RBs making a ton of money and Gio wants to keep it that way for Saquon and the Giants. Jerry returns for an update but first we talk about Anthony Gallo’s living conditions. Gio is confused as to what a hotplate is. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Pizza Bianco in Phoenix and a caller hates that the NFL allows linemen to push the guy with the ball forward. Another caller hates hearing about the money athletes make and how we act like they’re not getting paid enough.

Hour 1:

Gio showed up today wearing a bright white knit hat with the Casamigos logo on it. Boomer also noticed Gio is walking with a limp, as he played pickleball last night. Boomer wonders if Aaron Rodgers is in the dark box yet. Boomer & Gio are both impressed by Tiger Woods at the Genesis Invitational. We also talked about the condition of the Super Bowl field. Pete Alonso is happy to be here and looking forward to a great season. Boomer calls him ‘a ray of sunshine’. The Chiefs parade was yesterday and Jerry has audio from Travis Kelce. Tiki Barber doesn’t see Aaron Rodgers handling the NY media well. Gio says it’s the total opposite. Aaron Rodgers has no problem handling the media. The Knicks clobbered the Hawks in Atlanta. In the final segment of the hour, Eddie the picks jockey had a meltdown on Twitter. We also talked about the Jets QB situation involving Aaron Rodgers or Derek Carr. 

Hour 2:

Both Mike Tannenbaum and Jason La Canfora both say Justin Fields will be dealt. Would he fit in with the Jets? Gio said Tiki saying Aaron Rodgers couldn’t handle the NY media is ‘stupid’. He is not calling Tiki stupid. In fact, he said Tiki is smarter than he is. The comment, not Tiki, is stupid. Jerry returns for an update and we start with the Knicks beating the Hawks in Atlanta last night. The Knicks sound like they’re having fun, based on some of the postgame audio. Chris Russo was defending 1980’s NBA players to JJ Redick. Max Scherzer has 4 dogs and 4 kids so life is a little chaotic right now. The Chiefs had their Super Bowl parade in KC and Jerry has all the audio from it. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the ‘Oh yeah’ thing on TikTok and how it infiltrated the Chiefs parade. 

Hour 3:

We start the hour with our ‘Oh Yeah’ Boomer song. Then we got into Damar Hamlin and what his future in football will look like. Gio has some WFAN news. Craig is out today and tomorrow. Today Sal Licata will fill in, and tomorrow CP ‘The Fanchise’. Jerry returns for an update but first we talked about doing a WFAN part time host draft. Jerry has audio from the TikTok ‘oh yeah’ trend that has been going around. The Knicks won in Atlanta and Boomer is happy about the Rangers beating Vancouver. In the final segment of the hour, Eddie the picks jockey calls in to discuss his Twitter meltdown concerning his housing situation.
