Boomer said there’s a lot of injuries to older people because of pickleball. Jerry returns for an update and has never heard of duckpin bowling. Aaron Rodgers was on the Pat McAfee podcast and does not appreciate the fake news about him. He was also asked what he’s trying to accomplish by going into a dark space. They discussed the toilet in the middle of the dark space. Where can we go in the area if we want to go into a dark space? We talked about ‘earthbag domes’. Tiger Woods talked about LeBron passing Kareem Abdul Jabbar. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about people looking forward to Spring Training, not because of baseball, but because of better weather coming. CBS played footage of Verlander and Scherzer walking into Spring Training and Gio sees two old guys. Gio said the Mets need another bat.

Hour 2

NFL free agency is still a month away, except for Derek Carr. Right now the Panthers are the favorite to land him. We talked about Rodgers, Carr and Lamar Jackson. Jerry returns for an update and has audio from Aaron Rodgers saying ‘fake news’ about him. Gio compares Al to Aaron Rodgers. Gio has been sucked into the Al Dukes food vortex. Aaron Rodgers says to question everything and everyone. Alex Cora said ‘4 inches is huge’ in regards to the new, larger bases in baseball. A cheerleader gets thrown out of a college basketball game for shoving a player. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about people who made huge bets on the Super Bowl. Derek Carr is available right now. Aaron Rodgers is heading into his dark cave. There are multiple teams interested in Derek Carr. If you’re the Jets, do you try to get Carr or wait for Aaron Rodgers. If you wait and he doesn’t come to the Jets and Derek Carr goes elsewhere, then what? Boomer wonders if Derek Carr is so good, why are the Raiders letting him walk? Is it because they know Aaron Rodgers is going to the Raiders? Aaron Rodgers is supposedly going to film his time in the dark room. There is a toilet in there and he will be getting enemas. Gio wonders if that will be filmed. Boomer said when you go for a colonoscopy you need to ‘trim up’ and not have ‘dingleberry bushes’. Good morning everybody! Jerry is here for his first update but first we talked to him about Rutgers losing to Nebraska last night. Good news for the Giants, as the Eagles lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators to head coaching jobs. Jerry has audio from Aaron Rodgers on with Pat McAfee. They talked about his inner circle and going into a dark place. Patrick Mahomes was mic’d up in the Super Bowl when he got injured. Chris Russo can’t pronounce the names of Rihanna or Elon Musk. Buck Showalter is in Port St. Lucie and talked about this season’s expectations. In the final segment of the hour, Kadarius Toney reacts to people saying he faked an injury to get out of NY. We also reminisced about ‘We Are The World’ and who sang on it.

Boomer made news yesterday for correctly reporting that Keith Hernandez was going to be back with SNY. The show also made news with a tweet saying more callers were interested in talking about Rihanna smelling her fingers than the actual game. The Jets hired a passing game coordinator with ties to Derek Carr. We talked about the potential of Derek Carr to the Jets and what team might be their competition. Boomer wonders what Jalen Hurts is worth on the open market. C-Lo is in for Jerry. The Knicks beat the Nets with a big 40 point game from Jalen Brunson. A mystery arises regarding where Al Dukes is during the segment. Boomer gleefully hopes it’s Norovirus. We go around the high scoring NBA. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t gone into the “darkness” yet. In the final segment of the hour, Al returns and discusses his conversation with Spike during the last segment when he was missing. It was about podcasting. 

Hour 2:

Gio wonders why Daniel Jones doesn’t want to listen to offers from other teams knowing how crazy the money being offered to them is right now. Boomer said the Giants could franchise tag him so that’s why he’s not listening to offers from other teams. Where might Lamar Jackson end up? Boomer wonders about Atlanta. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Knicks beating the Nets at MSG. Kyrie had a big fourth quarter for the Mavericks last night. Patrick Mahomes talked about the advice his father has given him over the years. C-Lo wonders why Nick Sirianni crying during the anthem was such a big deal. In the final segment of the hour, Patrick Mahomes is Boomer’s Valentine today. 

Hour 3:

Boomer had a lot of Dicks on his coaching staff at one point in his career. We talked about how many more coaches there are for every NFL team now. C-Lo is here for an update but first Gio tells us of a Valentines Day where his wife cried because he didn’t get flowers. The Knicks beat the Nets behind 40 points from Jalen Brunson. Patrick Mahomes Sr was smoking on that ‘Philly Blunt’ after the game. MLB has new rules for position players pitching. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Jets keeping Zach Wilson or not. Boomer doesn’t think it’s a good idea if they get Derek Carr. What will happen when Aaron Rodgers comes out of the dark isolation box?

Hour 4:

Gio gave a guitar lesson yesterday to someone who won it for Hungerthon. The guy is a bariatric weight loss surgeon. We talked about BMI and why it doesn’t make much sense. Buzz, No Buzz: NY Knicks. A caller said other than Boomer, everybody else was dressed like a slob during the Arizona shows. C-Lo returns for an update, but first Curtis Granderson is in the hall stuck in a conversation with our production guy, Zach. Curtis Granderson and Edwin Jackson pop in to talk about being tossed from games and throwing at players. Then CC Sabathia pops in. C-Lo comes back in to finish his update. We played sound from Kyrie after last night’s game where he had a dominant fourth quarter. A couple was married at halftime of the Mavericks game.
