Boomer & Gio

Al kicks off the show sheet by writing ‘Francisco’ instead of ‘Fernando’ Mendoza, sparking a debate on whether Boomer is better known as an NFL MVP or Radio Hall of Famer, followed by a chat about the old NJ Playboy Club. Jerry returns with an update on the Yankees' 1-0 loss to Seattle, which leads into fan-submitted NY Islanders alternate jerseys, Jacob deGrom leaving last night's game with tricep fatigue, and Aaron Glenn discussing QB Cade Klubnik. To close out the hour, the crew reacts to Kyle Shanahan downplaying a Niners player who wasn't breathing, and Gio vents about people filming in places just to argue about their legal rights.

Gio kicks things off by pitching a Netflix show idea called ‘Surprise Penis’, leading into a caller wondering if Boomer will let WFAN use his voice for commercials once he retires. Another caller claims Boomer isn’t a real man because he can only go number two at home, which prompts a flood of calls on ‘surprise penis’. Jerry returns for his update featuring audio of the overnight producer unable to answer Gordon Damer, and the hour closes with Gio diving into the Netflix show The Bombing of Pan Am 103.

Preseason action kicks off with the Jets playing tonight and the Giants tomorrow, leaving us to see if John Harbaugh can maintain his undefeated preseason record with New York. Jerry returns for his final update, starting with the sound of the lone run in the Yankees' 1-0 shutout loss to the Mariners, followed by Edwin Diaz addressing his rough stretch with the Dodgers, and a Kyle Schwarber home run into the Iowa cornfields. Jon Gruden then weighs in on his praise for Aaron Glenn and how the Jets will stay competitive, before the show wraps up with the Moment of the Day featuring caller reactions to ‘Surprise Penis’.

We heard a Kyle Schwarber HR into the cornfields in Iowa. Jon Gruden likes Aaron Glenn and explained how the Jets are going to be competitive. The Moment of The Day: Calls on ‘Surprise Penis’.

The Jets play pre-season game number one tonight and the Giants play tomorrow. John Harbaugh did it with the Ravens. Will he continue the trend with the Giants?

Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio of the overnight producer not being able to give an answer to Gordon Damer. You already know what happened in sports yesterday so just relax.

Jerry gets to the sports this hour and starts with the sounds of the Yankees losing to Seattle 1-0. We then somehow got into the alternate jerseys fans submitted to the NY Islanders. Jacob deGrom left the game last night with triceps fatigue. Aaron Glenn talked about QB Cade Klubnik. The Niners had a player that wasn’t breathing and Kyle Shanahan didn’t seem to think it was a big deal.

The hour started with Boomer noting that Al wrote ‘Francisco’ Mendoza instead of ‘Fernando’ Mendoza on the show sheet. Also, is Boomer more well known as an NFL MVP or a Radio Hall of Famer?

Sure we could talk about sports but this beach party thing that Jerry is hosting intrigues us.
