Hour 1
The Rangers season is over and Boomer gives his thoughts on the season. He does not seem pissed at all, which is surprising to the person typing this up. He talked about how great Igor played and how he is the only person that kept them in these games. Boomer said he is disappointed, but he had a great time being a fan this year. Boomer said it’s important going forward not to lose out on Igor’s best years. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Darryl Strawberry jersey retirement ceremony. The Yankees swept the Giants as Juan Soto homered in the ninth to take the lead. Aaron Judge had a great weekend in San Francisco as well. The Mets lost another game when they had a lead in the ninth. Tommy Pham, now of the White Sox, had an issue with the Brewers catcher after a play at the plate. The Chiefs visited the White House and Biden brought Travis Kelce up to the microphone. In the final segment of the hour, the Yankees are 23 games above .500 and it’s only June 3rd. We also took calls from disappointed Rangers fans. Boomer said last year he was pissed the way the Rangers season ended, and this year he is not.
Hour 2
The afternoon show seems to be doing more fake wrestling type stuff with Tommy Lugauer vs Shaun Morash on twitter after the Rangers loss. Evan, Morash and Lugauer all talk really fast. We took more calls from disappointed Rangers fans. A caller absolutely goes off on Steve Cohen and the Mets. What happens with this Mets season is irrelevant. What happens at the trade deadline is the only thing that matters. An 80 year old man called and said he can’t wait around for the Mets to rebuild. Jerry returns for an update, but first a caller said his dad died, his son went to jail and then the Rangers were eliminated. The Yankees swept the Giants as Juan Soto hit 2 more home runs yesterday. Judge hit 2 home runs over the weekend. Jerry plays a game, ‘Which is worse?’. In the final segment of the hour, gio has a story of a golfer who asked his dad to caddie for him and they won the tournament. A caller said he golfed with Boomer when lightning started and Boomer bolted for shelter.
Hour 3
Gio said it has gotten out of control with the cheap shots Caitlin Clark is taking in the WNBA. Matt Barnes wonders where Clark’s teammates are in all of this? Angel Reese was cheering the cheap shot. There could be a racial component to this or a sexual component to this as well. There is a lot more here than being hard on a rookie. This is pure jealousy by the other players in the WNBA. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio of the Caitlyn Clark cheap shot and Matt Barnes wants to know where her teammates are. Juan Soto hit 2 more home runs yesterday as the Yankees swept the Giants. The Mets lost another game after leading after 8. In the final segment of the hour, Gio is going to be on some YouTube golf thing. We also took more calls about Caitlin Clark vs the other women in the WNBA. Some compared her to the Pistons beating up Michael Jordan.
Hour 4
We took a call from a woman named Joan who is having all sorts of issues with her dryer and Laz-Y Boy. She couldn’t get a human on the phone so she somehow wound up with our phone number. It was as weird as it sounds. Jerry returned for his final update of the day, but first Justin Jefferson signed a new deal with the Vikings. Jerry has audio from one of Juan Soto’s two home runs from yesterday. Jerry has audio about the Caitlin Clark cheapshot from this past weekend against the Chicago Sky. The Moment of The Day involves Paul O’Neill having an issue saying ‘Elly De La Cruz’. In the final segment of the show, Gio ran into Keegan Michael Key on Fire Island this weekend. Gio had an incident at the marina with another boater that left him soaking wet.
