At the end of Nehemiah 6, the walls around Jerusalem have been rebuilt. Now the work of reviving the people begins. So in Nehemiah 7, the people are organized for life inside the wall.

The devil is such an infernal foe. He seems to never give up in his attacks against God's people. If we are going to have victory against him, we must know the tactics he uses against us. Fortunately, we learn from Nehemiah 6 some of those subtle ways he seeks to bring and end to God's work.
