Congestion is a problem in any city, and it's no different in Cities Skylines 2. Today, we make the decision to incorporate a partially sunken urban cross city motorway into our build. There was so much congestion-busting promise in adding a new high speed link, giving our cims yet another way to get into the city - but has poor city planning caused more problems than it solved?

Only time will tell!

Welcome back to Azure Delta! Today we're building out our Cities Skylines 2 Town Hall Precinct, as well as expanding our downtown area with some new medium density housing, and sending trams down our main road.

Along the way we work on streamlining our rail network and feeding commuters into Town Hall, and add a third connection point between the suburban areas of our city and downtown.

Today we're looking at Arcade Paradise PC version - a game where you take control of the family laundromat business and develop ambitions of turning it into a mad cool video games arcade.

It's also available on Xbox Game Pass at the moment as well, so I've you've got gamepass, I'd definitely consider giving it a go and seeing what you think of it!

Today in Cities Skylines II we're working on increasing redundancy across our road and rail networks. In a number of locations we're currently in a situation where there is only one road/rail in and out, which places us in a risky situation where one accident or delay at the wrong time could cripple our road network.

Today we work on eliminating this problem by adding redundancy across our major road connections. Along the way we also work on expanding our low and medium residential by expanding last week's suburban development.

Last episode we converted an old tired two lane arterial highway into a brand new orbital motorway to get our cims into the somewhat isolated Azure Delta CBD.

Today, we unlock some of the potential we built with that motorway by building the brand new suburb of Quokka Terrace, featuring a variety of housing uses, plenty of jobs and with easy access to both the Azure Delta CBD and the older parts of our city.

The land we're building on near the Motorway has so much potential, and I think we will continue to develop more housing nearby as the series goes on!

Hey everyone, welcome to 2024! I was a week or two off when I estimated I'd be back recording and editing, but I hope you'll forgive me. Today in Azure Delta, we're busting congestion with a brand new orbital motorway project replacing our old regional highway through the area. Not only does this build get traffic flowing smoother into our CBD area, but it will also enable future residential development along what will become a major transit corridor into the future.

Welcome back to Cities Skylines 2! Thanks for all of your likes and comments last week, and today we start off with some fixes and suggestion from them.

Moving on from there, we carefully plan out a new medium density area with a school and college, a sprawling suburb with not a straight line to be seen, as well as building a new industrial area based around our rail yard.

The recent patch seems to have fixed some of the visual oddities I was experiencing in the last few episodes, which is a nice change!

Azure Delta continues to grow! In today's Cities Skylines 2 episode, we continue working on the organic expansion of the city. After noticing some congestion at how main highway offramp, we work to introduce a new (somewhat janky) diamond interchange at our new build area to reduce the amount of traffic concentrated on our SPUI.

We also introduce the first semblance of suburban rail for the city, with a second railway station!

There's been another new Cities Skylines II patch which hit last week, and it seems to have further increased the visual fidelity for me, so I'm really happy to see that! If you've been noticing pretty bad texture resolution, definitely check out the CS2 update.

We've been focusing ecologically sensible industry and power for too long! It's time to burn some coal and dig up our process minerals for the betterment of our Cities: Skylines 2 region!

Today in Cities Skylines 2, we put our focus on heavy industry, including converting a few small parts of our city into a virtual moonscape so that we can increase our supply of coal and ore - along the way we continue working on our residential sprawl, and place down a new cargo harbour and a coal-fired power plant to keep the economy going (and the lights on!)
