Democracy Sausage with Mark Kenny

Boris Johnson and Brexit Britain

Listen Later

As Boris Johnson threatens to take Britain out of the European Union without a deal, we hear from Ros Taylor, Managing Editor the LSE’s Brexit Blog and presenter on the Remainiacs podcast about whether the country can pull back from the brink, what no-deal might mean, and how to heal the deep divisions exposed by the Brexit process. Hosts Mark Kenny and Marija Taflaga also take a look at whether there are lessons from history about the rise of China.

Mark Kenny is a Senior Fellow in the ANU Australian Studies Institute. He came to the university after a high-profile journalistic career including six years as chief political correspondent and national affairs editor for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The Canberra Times.
