On today's pod (1:45), our first ever guest, Tom Leninger, is back to talk Knicks and Jets. We preview the 2nd half of the Knicks season (3:14), discuss what player we definitely do not want to see them acquire, and we even have a little fun by doing a way too early look at potential playoff matchups. Then we talk Jets (53:17) and the three of us each share what is on our Jets wish list for Free Agency and the Draft. We had a lot of fun recording with Tom, this is certainly a feel good pod for all Knicks and Jets fans!

Two pods ago, we released our "Mets Worst Moment" Bracket, featuring eight of the worst Mets moments of our lifetimes. The first round may have not had any upsets, as the top 4 seeds all advanced, but on today's pod Travis Williams come on to preview the final four (1:11). After going through the results of Round 1 (3:36), Travis also nitpicks some of our selections, and shares some of his personal memories related to the moments in the bracket. Travis always provides top notch insight when he comes on the pod and today is no different!

The Knicks are 18-17 and currently the #4 seed in the East! It is time to get excited Knicks fans. For the first time in eight years, we can talk about both how the Knicks can improve themselves for a playoff run this season AND how they can improve themselves in the future. Matt Reznik joins us on the pod to go through a whole bevy of mock trades (5;41). These trades are all realistic trades that have passed through the ESPN Trade Machine, as we ponder what it would take to bring in the likes of a Bradley Beal (36:08), and a whole bunch of other guys who could help the Knicks as well. On this pod we also put Matt into the Tortured Fan Corner (1:40) and have an unexpected podcast surprise (1:02:26).
Enjoy Knicks Tradeapalooza!

As Mets fans we may love our team, but they have let us down time and time again, usually in painfully agonizing ways. Before the Mets play their first game in the Steve Cohen era, we thought we'd look back at some of the torturous memories, and let the fans decide which one was the worst. On today's episode, diehard Mets fan, Alex Bigelisen joins us as we reveal our "Mets Worst Moment Bracket," consisting of eight awful Mets moments from our lifetimes.
You will be able to vote on these matchups on Twitter and Instagram @bornin87pod.
If you want to listen to our breakdown/reveal of these moments, skip ahead to (13:53).

The 2020 NFL Season is in the books, and if you are a Jets fan like us, right now you feel sick about Brady winning another Super Bowl. Well, the Born in '87 podcast is here for you Jets fans, and we are looking forward, giving you some content that is not about that disgusting Super Bowl.
On today's episode, John Hill comes on the pod and we analyze all the different QB possibilities for the Jets in 2021. We discuss whether or not we think they will trade for Deshaun Watson (0:09), debate if they should keep Sam Darnold (28:31), and break down the prospects of drafting Justin Fields, Zach Wilson or Trey Lance with the 2nd overall pick in the draft (40:03). We had a lot of fun with John Hill on this episode, and this is one we think all Jets fans will really enjoy.

If you are looking for a crazy, fun, insightful pod that at points becomes chaotic, well, this is the pod for you! On this episode of the "Born in '87" podcast, we debate just about every aspect of the Jets 2020 season, and more specifically, how Joe Douglas did in his first draft and full season as Jets General Manager. We debate it WWE Tag Team Style as Adam and Erik Montalbano team up against Justin and Lance Kravitz, while James Arnone mediates the mayhem. We recorded this pod prior to the Jets hiring of Rob Saleh, so Adam and Justin give you their thoughts about the Saleh hiring at the top of the pod (0:01). On the main pod (6:13) the two teams debate last offseason and the draft (12:56), whether or not Joe Douglas failed Sam Darnold (33:42), should Sam Darnold be the QB in 2021 (42:16), whether or not Gase should have been fired earlier (1:01:03), and should the Jets trade for Deshaun Watson (1:08:16). At the end of the pod, mediator/referee James Arnone declares the Born in '87 Tag Team Champion (1:18:14)!

The "Born in '87" podcast is back with our first episode of 2021! Our final pod of 2020 talked about the worst Mets, Jets and Knicks moments of 2020, so we begin 2021 talking about something awesome. The Mets traded for Francisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco, and they didn't have to trade too much to do it. On this pod, we share our excitement over this move and discuss how it affects the team as they are now currently constructed, and how we think it will affect their moves the remainder of the offseason.
