Cons/What we don’t like:-The client runs your schedule sometimes (can be tough on family or your own personal free time)-Weekend hours are usually required -Week Nights too… Basically when everyone else is off work-No “Boss” Unless a Team member-It is extremely easy to fail/no accountability
Actual steps-Make sure you will actually enjoy it: Intern/shadow-Depends on location-Usually the best place to start is your local Association-Some States don’t require you to join the association-Take the online class-Study for the test (important!)-Pay the fees
The Best First Step?-Work as an assistant or try to join a team-Be a licensed showing agent-Shadow an established agent -Watch videos and read books!
