Gordon Hayward snapped into 2019 in a big way, rolling up 35 points for the Kyrie-less Celtics in a 115-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at home.

Kyrie Irving did not play in the game after suffering an eye injury Monday night in San Antonio. Terry Rozier started in his place and played well.

The Celtics improve to 22-15.
