The House Representives voted against a measure that would authorize the President to fight a “limited” war for one year. The vote, 123 - 295 and  asecond measure 180 - 228 sponsored by Rep. Tom Rooney (R-FL), which would have cut Libya funding.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry fired up an anti-tax "tea party" Wednesday with his stance against the federal government and for states' rights as  U.S. flag-waving audience shouted, "Secede!"
