On today's episode, Pastor Joe sits down with Rev. Ric Shewell, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church in Portland, Oregon. Together, they talk about Ric's journey in ministry, the connection of education and science with religion, and how a medical incident involving Ric's daughter has shaped his ministry.

Today, Pastor Joe continues our generosity series called Our Money Story as we focus on the word "release". Drawing from Deuteronomy 15:1-11, we listen for how God might be calling us to release the ways society expects us to have relationship with money and to live into God's money story!

On today's episode, Pastor Joe talks with Pastor Joel Rodriguez about his faith journey, serving as an immigrant from Central America in the Pacific Northwest. Throughout the conversation, he invites us to explore a faith that is about liberation and challenges us to live out our faith through that liberated lens. 

This week, Pastor Joe launched our new series on generosity called Our Money Story. We all have our own money stories, and often, these are stories we don’t tell. Society has conditioned us to keep money separate from other aspects of our lives, but what if we told our money stories as part of God’s money story? This week, we focus on "remember" and draw from Exodus 16:1-18. 

On today's episode, Pastor Joe sits down with the Rev. Janelle Kurtz, pastor of Snohomish United Methodist Church. Together, they talk about some of the challenges of ministry, the stigma of mental health, and Janelle's own story of navigating postpartum depression.
