This week, we continue our summer sermon series, Love Your Neighbor. Pastor Joe is joined by Jim O'Ferrell as they discuss how loving your neighbor extends through outreach programs like Habitat for Humanity and other community partnerships. Reflecting on Micah 4:1-5, Pastor Joe and Jim examine the need for action and activity to end homelessness.

This week, Pastor Joe is joined by his old friend, the Rev. Dr. Theon Johnson III. Theon is the Lead Pastor of Downs Memorial United Methodist Church in Oakland, CA, and in this conversation, they talk through the journey towards true freedom and liberation, especially as the United States prepares to recognize Juneteenth. 

This week, we continue our summer sermon series, Love Your Neighbor. We tune in on a prerecorded conversation between Drew Hogan, Youth and Community Engagement Coordinator of Bothell UMC, and Alex Watkinson, graduating senior and member of the Bothell UMC youth group! Alex shares her passion for agriculture and addressing the systemic injustices related to food insecurity as one of the ways she understands what it means to Love Your Neighbor! 

Pastor Joe is joined by Rev. April Casperson, Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. Together, they talk about journey and call, and especially the ways we, as people of faith, can move our communities towards the Beloved Community!

This week, we launched our summer sermon series, Love Your Neighbor! Drawing from Luke 10:25-37, Pastor Joe shares how he identifies most with the lawyer who tested Jesus as we look to the challenge to "go and do likewise". 

Pastor Joe is joined by Rev. Liz Kearny, Co-Pastor of Longview Presbyterian Church and part-time chaplain at a local community hospital in SW Washington. Together, they talk about the the privilege of journeying in community in and through grief with tenderness and grace, looking to the future in hope.
