This week I was bothered by many things, such as the Derek Chauvin aftermath, a follow-up to the Ever Given Suez Canal story, the IOC forcing Japan to go ahead with the Olympics in spite of the pandemic, the covid crisis in India, and the federal government of Canada spending even more money and going over budget on the proposed 'victims of communism' memorial.

It's good that Derek Chauvin's's been found guilty on all three charges, but there's some background stuff and context that continues to bother me. One such botheration is that some are calling this "justice" when really it's just the beginning of accountability, and we don't know what the sentencing will be yet.
