Hi Everyone, thanks so much for listening to this episode! I mentioned that in 2017 Ancestry.com sold 1.5 million DNA testing kits! That’s like 2,000 gallons of saliva—enough to fill a modest above-ground swimming pool with the genetic history of every person in the city of Philadelphia. Here are a couple of links that may be of interest or helpful. And the gift idea I mention at the end, but is a bit cut off, is to give the gift of getting ones DNA tested :)

Hey All, Olivia Colman is one of my favorite actors. I can't say enough about her. In 2019 she received an Oscar for her role in The Favourite. Her acceptance speech is hilarious, heartwarming and wickedly funny. She acknowledged her fellow actors, director, agent, family, friends and little girls out there dreaming of such a time as this. Talk about gratitude. What if we were to imagine ourselves receiving an award. Who would we thank? Whose shoulders have we stood on? Who has inspired us and called us to great things and a bigger life? What if we were to draft our own acceptance speech?
Mentioned in this weeks episode, plus a few extra:
With tremendous gratitude, Amy :)

Bottom Left Drawer is birthed from this place of wanting to plan for the expected and the unexpected. AND wanting to provide an easy, straightforward way for others to do the same. In today's episode I talk about an experience I had with my Mom, one that inspired me to create Bottom Left Drawer.
Thanks for listening!
