Jared and Reed are an engineering/production powerhouse team! These guys have worked with top songwriters and artists in the industry and don't have any plans on slowing down. Bradley Churchman is one of the singers, guitarists, and songwriters of the southern rock powerhouse jam band Bonnie Blue! Before his journey with this amazing band, he was also the GM of Jacksonville's beloved music venue Free Bird Live. Free Bird has since closed its doors and Bradley has been able to focus all of his efforts on Bonnie Blue. The band has become a staple at many of the festivals around the southeast and truly is a force to be reckoned with! It was really fun getting to hang with Brad on this episode. We discuss his come-up in the Jax scene, early bands, and how his experience at Free Bird has helped him with the vision of Bonnie Blue. Dave McSweeney is a bassist and founding member of the band Greenhouse Lounge! After GHL was formed in the mid-2000's they hit the ground running playing big support shows to quickly becoming a household name in the festival circuit. Dave goes into his approach and goals with first starting GHL, their hiatus after his move to Atlanta, and the inspiration for reforming the band. This was a special episode because not only is GHL back on the grind, but they're now featuring co-host of the show, Billy Begley on keys! This week on the show we sat down with Bobby Moody, the sound guy at one of our favorite venues in Jax, Archetype. Bobby hails from New Haven, CT where he got his start playing in different creative projects and studying sound engineering at the University of New Haven. He would eventually join the ranks at a local venue called Space Ballroom, working his way up the ladder becoming the house sound man! After some time holding down the fort, he would become the sound man for the Orchestral Rock band, Community Center. It was then where he’d spend the better part of 3 years touring around the country. There’s no shortage of crazy stories from the road on this episode and even some pretty wild coincidences! This week on the show we sat down with a few of the members of Let's Ride Brass Band! Let's Ride is the only brass band in Jacksonville (that we know of) and man do they crush! Paul Jackson, Deandre Lettsome, and Joshua Bible gave us some insight into what it's like running and being a part of a 12 piece band. From the writing process to their approaches with gigs, this band runs like a well-oiled machine. We had a blast on this one. No shortage of hilarious stories or banter either.
