On Episode 131 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Richard Pass who was most recently a GCD/Art Director at InnOcean. This is also my 89th episode in partnership with The Avail List.

Richard is an easy-going creative who is all about teamwork. He understands that multiple people solving a problem is better than just one. He also really believes in creative leadership and mentoring younger teams.

He’s a computer geek who has taught himself how to write java/code, loves getting in the trenches with his teams, enjoys writing, LOVES presenting, and prioritizes research before jumping into a brief.

  • Bouncing Back With Kati Haberstock: Executive Producer

On Episode 130 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Kati Haberstock who was most recently the head of production and business affairs at Mekanism. This is also my 88th episode in partnership with The Avail List.

Kati started her career delivering coffee for the Beastie Boys before becoming a line producer, opening Framestore LA, and then finding her way to more traditional production. Now, with 20+ years of experience, Kati knows every possible trick to make sure productions go according to plan...even though they never do.

She can do everything from live-action, to print, social, animation, and even VFX. While she is capable of wearing 1000 hats, Kati is hoping to find an opportunity where she can focus on 2-3 accounts vs an entire agency. She’s even willing to go brand side for the right opportunity.

Kati knows the importance of teamwork and making good relationships. She’s organized, great at public speaking, and good with numbers which makes her a true production triple threat. One of her best qualities though is being fearless.

She totally loves what she does and brings a great attitude to the office each day. If you’re looking for an executive producer who wants to break down barriers and hit the ground running your search stops here. Reach out today.

  • Bouncing Back With Amy Lim: Art Director

On Episode 129 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Amy Lim who was most recently a social strategy intern at Movers & Shakers. This is also my 87th episode in partnership with The Avail List.

Amy was recently hired as a full-time Art Director at Momentum Worldwide, and even though she isn’t looking for a full-time role I still wanted to give her the attention she deserves.

Amy started in strategy before successfully pivoting into Art Direction after realizing her true passion for creating. She’s eager to work with good people who want to make the work as strong and impactful as she does. She prioritizes work that connects people and culture, enjoys making her audience think, and loves working on multiple clients with different tones.

She is dedicated to her craft and pours herself into every project she works on, while also making sure to find insights before blowing out ideas.

In her spare time, she’s a painter and photographer and even has a section of her portfolio where she shows off her work.

  • Bouncing Back With Julie Berman: Jr Copywriter

On Episode 128 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Julie Berman who was most recently a copywriting intern at BBH. This is also my 86th episode in partnership with The Avail List.

Julie was recently hired as a jr. copywriter at Doner, but since she’s so awesome I still wanted to share her story.

Ever since she can remember, Julie was always into writing. To her mom's surprise, she would always prefer writing in a notebook vs playing with toys.

Julie wants to create work that leaves an impact on the people watching it. She knows that in order to do so she needs to stay up to date on culture and come up with ideas that break through the clutter. Her curious attitude helps her explore directions that haven’t been done before, knows how to take constructive criticism, and works really well under pressure.

Her ambition to succeed has already helped her win multiple student awards. While you can’t hire her now you should definitely keep an eye out for her. bermistheword.com
