  • Bouncing Back With Stephanie Chambers: VP of Product Marketing

On episode 82 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Stephanie Chambers  who was most recently the VP of Product Marketing at ADP.

As someone who works on bringing products to market, Stephanie believes that working cross-functionally with different departments sets brands up for the most success. It's exactly why she likes working closely with the sales team as she knows they have the most insight into what consumers actually think about the products.

She works well under pressure, goes with the flow, is adaptable, and really doesn’t like working in silos. She knows the importance of brands having a consistent story and has a really unique POV on her website that explains how she approaches brand storytelling.

Reach out to Stephanie if you’re looking for a team player who is ready to make an immediate impact at your agency. plugyourstory.com

Bōggie is a great listener, super adaptable, and also a huge Adnerd. He wants to work with brands that want to be famous and is willing to put in the work needed to "get shit done.”

  • Bouncing Back With Elizabeth Flynn: Creative Director

On episode 80 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Elizabeth Flynn who was most recently a Creative Director at Digital Integrity Group.

Elizabeth is a total force to be reckoned with. She’s a UX/UI designer who specializes in launching businesses from the ground up, a web developer, and even runs her own agency called Inclusive Creative.

She’s able to get along with anyone, learn new software faster than most, has a background in writing, and is also a painter. She loves mentoring younger talent, prefers to be hands-on vs just overseeing projects, and is constantly curious.

In addition to all this, she’s a big activist who donates her time to ‘creatives for black lives’, ‘tech for campaigns’, and a local anti-racist group that she started in her community.

In her first job, Elizabeth was even a seamstress for rock and roll bands and has worked with artists like Lenny Kravitz, Elton John, Madonna, and the Backstreet Boys.

So yeah, she’s way cooler than all of us. Reach out to learn more about how she can help your agency or brand today You won’t regret it. inclusivecreative.services

On episode 79 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Juan Kurtzman-González who was most recently a Junior Art Director at Ogilvy.

He’s a team player who knows how to think tactically and understands that not all projects are going to be glamorous.

He loves making the boring stuff interesting, likes drawing creepy and surreal sketches, once came in 2nd place in the New Yorker Cartoon Contest, and hopes that he can create work that makes people laugh vs saving the world.

Instead of chasing agency names, Juan is looking to work with great people who can help mentor him along the way. You won't regret reaching out. juankurtzman.com

  • Bouncing Back With Jeff Greenspan: Creative Director

On episode 78 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Jeff Greenspan who has been a Creative Director/writer at BBDO, Facebook, and BuzzFeed. He’s currently breaking into the stand-up comedy game down in Chattanooga Tennessee and freelancing to "help brands talk to people without seeming like jerks."

Jeff is over the agency BS, and instead of sitting in meeting after meeting, he really wants the opportunity to create great work.

He knows how to defend ideas he is proud of, but also knows that 90% of things die in this industry and that it’s just as important to move on to the next great idea. He has a proven track record, and these days is really into strategic thinking.

Although he makes it out like he’s not pleasant to work with, once you talk to Jeff a bit more you get to see his soft empathetic side.

Reach out if you’re looking for a Creative Director who can hit the ground running. Also, make sure to ask about the comedy shows he hosts inside a lobby and his awesome initiative to help comedians and brands unlock insights through a brand roast. You won't regret it. JeffGreenspan.com

She knows it’s not easy, but says that it’s important for people to follow their heart, not be afraid, and to stay persistent throughout the job search process.

She also urges people who were laid off to take some time thinking about their next move vs rushing into the first job opening they see.

She doesn't care what platform she is creating work for, and instead just wants to work with good people and tell good stories.

She has blended her background in PR, law, and music to help shape the creative she is today. While she loves to write and shoot as much of her own work as possible, she is currently looking to collaborate and tell amazing stories.
