Dr. Richard Johnson is a professor of medicine at the University of Colorado and is a clinician, educator, and researcher. For more than 20 years, he has led research on the cause of obesity and diabetes, with special interest in the role of sugar (especially fructose) and uric acid. His research has been highly cited, published in top medical journals, and supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health. He is the author of The Sugar Fix, The Fat Switch, and Nature Wants Us to be Fat.
Dr. Charles Cavo is Chief Medical Officer and Pounds Transformation Co-Founder, with his wife, Michelle Cavo, PA-C. As an OB/GYN at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Dr. Cavo became increasingly concerned with how the obesity epidemic was negatively affecting his patients and decided to make finding a solution his life’s work. The business was founded to help patients successfully achieve their weight loss and health-related goals through a combination of lifestyle, nutrition, and medical interventions.

Dr. Sarah Zaldivar has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition from the University of Miami. She had previously completed her Bachelors’s and Masters’s degrees in Nutrition and Dietitics in addition to a hospital internship before passing the board examination to become a licensed dietitian. She has also previously taught nutrition courses for several years at the University of Miami, DeVry University, and Miami Dade College.
She is a certified personal trainer and a certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine, for whom she taught workshops training students to sit for the ACSM’s personal training certification.
She is currently fully focused on content creation as a YouTuber helping others find optimal health through a carnivore diet, mindset shifts, exercise, and dance!

According to today’s guest Danielle Stanton, nothing about her is traditional. She has been cheated on and divorced, has been hurt and has hurt people, and has experienced depression and anxiety.
She’s been a single mom and found love again, she’s been overweight and fought to get her body back, and has had breast implants, and subsequently removed them. And through it all, she’s found ways to continue learning, loving and living!
Danielle’s life journey has been full of highs and lows, twists and turns, and she gets excited to share her stories with people and help them know that they’re not alone throughout the many challenges life brings.
Several years ago, when her life hit rock bottom, Danielle was struggling with so many confusing health issues at once, she didn’t know what to do: depression and anxiety post-divorce, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and gut issues that landed her in the hospital, heavy metals, problems with sleep and dependency on Ambien, thyroid issues, and weight gain.
Doctor visits only resulted in more prescriptions, and she decided that once and for all enough was enough!
Danielle and her husband David founded Fuel4Ever based on one simple principle: When you put good, quality supplements into your body, you can achieve better health!
They’ve spent years researching ways to sustain and improve health as we get older. Along the way, they have discovered two key components missing from most health journeys- getting enough quality sleep, and getting the nutrients needed to preserve lean muscle and support muscle growth.

Robyn Dobbins is a dear friend of mine, whom I was lucky enough to meet at Low Carb Denver 2023, and have gotten to hang out with several times since! Robyn has suffered from many serious health conditions, including postpartum depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, obesity, depression, Hashimoto's disease, and bipolar.
After years of medications and treatments that had limited success, Robyn discovered a low-carbohydrate diet, through the amazing work of multiple former podcast guest Vinnie Tortorich! Her symptoms of bipolar disorder went into remission on a No Sugars No Grains® diet, which eventually evolved to a fully strict carnivorous diet.
On the carnivore diet, Robyn has lost 50 lbs., and for 5 years has been healthy and medication free. Janet Ebos is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist from Hamilton, Ontario, specializing in ketogenic therapy for psychiatric and neurological conditions. She was trained by the absolutely lovely psychiatrist Dr. Georgia Ede, one of the pioneers of metabolic psychiatry, and former Boundless Body Radio Podcast guest from episode 584.
She is also working with Metabolic Collective, a non-profit advocacy group driving awareness and access to metabolic therapies for brain-related disorders. Janet's interest in brain health began when her mother began showing signs of Alzheimer's disease in 2008.
Over a decade later, her son was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She only discovered the power and breadth of the ketogenic diet for the brain by accident while listening to a podcast and hasn't turned back since.
As her teacher, Dr. Ede, says, "The most powerful way to change brain chemistry is with food, because that's where brain chemicals come from in the first place".

Lauren Kennedy West has lived for many years with the diagnosis of schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type. She has the unique combined perspective of having experience working in the mental health care system as a social worker, and of navigating the mental health care system as a patient.
She shares her experience and knowledge as a speaker to various audiences, and also through her YouTube channel, titled Living Well With Schizophrenia, where her videos have been viewed over 20 million times. The channel is devoted to increasing knowledge and awareness around schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, psychosis spectrum illness and mental illness in general.
Lauren shares vulnerably about her struggles and successes navigating the mental health care system, working on recovery, and living well with a chronic mental illness. Lauren has been a mental health advocate since a young age, and her goal is to help others feel more supported in their own mental health journeys, and also to push for better mental health systems and supports.
She has delivered talks with the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta and the Mental Health Commission of Canada, among others.

Andy Taylor is an accredited coach through the United Kingdom Strength & Conditioning Association. Andy has a wealth of experience in planning and periodization of training programs, nutritional advice, and performance analysis of specific sports.
Andy was a professional footballer for nearly 10 years and began his playing career in 1996 at Manchester United Football Club where he gained a professional contract in 2000. This was unfortunately cut short due to a career threatening injury.
Through his experiences Andy has developed a thorough understanding of the requirements of being a top athlete. He has also experienced the lows of injuries and therefore can empathize with anyone who suffers one. He feels a great sense of responsibility in the work he does to provide effective Strength and Conditioning which can aid the prevention of injuries and the potential to maximize performance.
Andy has completed Professional Training in LCHF/Ketogenic Nutrition and treatment as well as Nutrition Network advisor training. His knowledge and skills offer his clients support for a variety of goals such as improving their overall health or their athletic performance!
