Bourbon and BS Podcast

Steve and Jake sit down with Barry Chandler this week from Stories and Sips. Barry brought some amazing gifts to the podcast including Redbreast 12 and Middleton Very Rare 2017 for us to change it up a bit from bourbon and learn some facts and history of the Irish! We lit up a Drew Estate Herrera Esteli Miami while we chatted about how to handle opposing views in life and with people around us. It was wonderful to change it up a bit this week and we learned a lot from Barry and the group. Sit down, pour a drink, light up, and join us in the garage.

Steve and Jake sit down with Erik Espinosa, from Espinosa Cigars, this week with a special bottle that was a gift/bet and one of Erik's favorite blends from his brand. Erik is known as Alpha Dawg, so we thought it would be a perfect time to look into the "alpha personality" for males and females. We were extremely thankful to have Erik in the garage and for the gifts for the episode. Sit down, pour a drink, light up, and join us in the garage.

We had some issues with our Facebook feed this week, so the audio was spliced a bit more than usual. We apologize for a couple of seemingly mismatched moments yet are very pleased with the content of the conversation!

Steve sits down with Josh Bentley, from Altadis USA, and Dustin Bovey, filling in for Jake, this week. Josh brought us the brand new H. Upmann 175th Anniversary cigar along with some EH Taylor Straight Rye. This turned into a wonderful pairing and we enjoyed our conversation about trends in the cigar world, whiskey, and other parts of life. We discuss the difference and overlap of things that may be considered tried and true and if trends should be considered fads. Sit down, pour a drink, light up, and join us in the garage.

Steve sits down with Robb Wilson from Rocky Patel and Ryan Gallimore from UCD this week to talk about cigars, whiskey, and change. We enjoyed the conversation with these two and also with the live audience through our Facebook Live feed on whiskey Wednesday. The Basil Hayden's is certainly different than a straight rye and we enjoyed the RP 55 with the bottle. Sit down, pour a drink, light up, and join us in the garage.
