We’re also checking in with Tyler Barron in Texas for a close encounter he has with his target buck. Will he get it done? Johnny Herrmann brings us up to speed on his hunts for bucks and bears throughout the season, and P.J. Reilly of Lancaster Archery gives us insight on how to select the best arrows.

We’re headed out to Wyoming to join Dustin DeCroo and his son, Weston, in the blind for an unforgettable father/son hunt that will go down as Dustin’s favorite hunt of all time. He then keeps things rolling on an amazing season with an encounter with the bull of a lifetime. It’s the kind of season dreams are made of. We then head to the Midwest and join Tim Ainsworth and Troy Spolum in Illinois as they find success on opening day to get their season started off right.

We’re headed out to Table Mountain Outfitters to elk hunt with longtime friends, Scott and Angie Denny. Arrows are flying and bull elk are dying, but it won’t come easy. Watch how this rollercoaster of an elk hunt all goes down in Wyoming.

It’s opening day in Illinois and we’re joining up with Matt Miller. He’s had a run of luck on big bucks since moving to Illinois and this year is no different as he kills the biggest buck of his life on opening day. We also hop in the stand with Justin to see the opening weekend encounters at his stand. Finally, we wrap up with Kent Petty in his ground blind that seems to produce as many turkeys as deer. Watch how he handles the situation when a group of longbeards make their way into the field.

We’re headed west to follow along with Josh Sturgill on a deer hunt with Dustin DeCroo at Big Horn Outfitters. With fields full of deer and ample targets in sight, Wyoming has quickly become a favorite stop for Sturgill to kick off his deer season each year.
