There’s no better way to beat the late summer heat than chasing antelope out west. We’re hopping in the blind with Troy Spolum as he sweats it out for a chance at a nice buck. With all the antelope slipping past him out of range he gambles by making a move of the blind to get closer to the action. The move pays off when a number of bucks slip past the blind and give Troy a shot. We also visit with Tim Conley, Dan Richardson, Kent Petty and Dalton Cook to check out the bucks the will be after this fall.

The season is almost here! The BHOD team is in the final month of preparation and planning for an exciting season. In this episode we check in with Chad Stillman and his new hunting partner, Marcus Wagner, as they prepare food plots and introduce us to a few of their Wisconsin hit list bucks. Dustin DeCroo and Tyler Rector head out with binos for some velvet scouting while Dean Krueger and Mike Pearce prepare their kids for upcoming hunts in the season ahead.

In this episode we find Todd, Justin and Tommy anxiously preparing for the soon-coming arrival of hunting season in Illinois. Between food plot chores and checking trail cameras, there’s plenty to do in this labor of love as we look ahead to opening day. We also visit with Neal McCullough as he gives a look into his upcoming season in Minnesota, and Josh Fletcher lays out a game plan for his public land hunting strategy in Wisconsin.

Some newlyweds head to the beach for their honeymoon, others head to hunting camp. That’s exactly what BHOD team member, Paul Morrison and his new bride, DaLisa, did following their wedding. We join up with the couple as they head to Quebec, Canada for their first black bear hunt. We also join up with Dan Richardson as he hits the water for some summertime bowfishing.

We’re headed to Texas to meet up with our newest BHOD team member, Tyler Barron, as he hunts for hogs in an effort to beat the off-season blues with a little bowhunting adventure. Next we join up with John Herrmann in Wisconsin as he does his best to punch his last two turkey tags. There’s plenty of bowhunting in this one. Don’t miss it!

Dustin DeCroo turns his springtime bowhunting adventure up a notch this year as he heads to Manitoba in search of black bears. He shows that persistence pays off on this hunt that’ll test his nerves like never before. We also catch up with Justin Zarr as he shares his pre-season prep tips, and Paul Morrison takes us along for a look at the R100 archery shoot as he puts his skills to the test on targets of every kind.

Our team makes it happen this week! They make it look easy as they each bag a bird in record time. We join Tim Ainsworth in northern Illlinois, and Chad Stillman in Wisconsin as they get some great gobblers. Back in Illinois we team up with Mike Pearce, and Richie Music as they try their hand in the Turkey woods, and let some arrows fly on the water in their first  bowfishing trip for the year.

Season 7 kicks off with some great shed antler hunting and post-season scouting footage from Tom Alford, Todd Graf and Tyler Rector.  Join them as they walk the forests and fields to pick up some bone and start forming their hit list for next season.  We also head to Kansas with Kent Petty for the first turkey hunt of the season.

We’re wrapping up Season 6 with a look back over another exciting year for the BHOD team. In this week’s episode we take a look at the success of Season 6. We highlight some of the top prostaff members, and some of the great moments from this year. We also take listener questions, learn a little more about Todd & Justin, and find out the history behind show. To wrap things up, we take a look at some of the funny moments behinds the scenes.

As hunting season winds to a close our team heads to the woods for the last time. Dustin DeCroo has made the trip back to the Midwest from Wyoming and is eager to get in the woods to punch an Illinois deer tag. He has a great late-season encounter with a nice buck that slips within range of the Mathews bow. We’re also joining up with Clinton Fawcett for a late-season hunt. He’s had another great season and puts the wraps on his year with a great buck taken in this episode. We wrap up the show checking in with Mike Fitzgerald and John Herrmann for a look at how their season unfolded.
