The last several seasons have found Justin Zarr struggling to punch his Illinois buck tags. He was eager to shake the monkey off his back this year, and that’s exactly what happens in this episode as he finally gets to notch a tag on a great buck. We also join up with Todd Graf as he continues to hunt hard and lets a pair of arrows fly during an exciting weekend in the woods. Will he find blood, or just mud, on his arrows? This week’s episode has all the variety you can handle, from bowfishing action with BHOD member, Dan Richardson, to food plot management with Neal McCullough and Richie Music. We also check in with Dean Krueger and his kiddos as they prepare for their hunts with the Horton crossbow.

We’re joining up with Clinton Fawcett in Illinois for an emotional hunt for a buck he’s named, Billy the Kid. He’s back in a spot that has produced a lot of great bucks in the past. Watch what happens when Billy the Kid walks out. Next, we climb in the tree with Justin Zarr as he drops the string on a big doe in Illinois. And we wrap up with some big buck encounters with Brandon Phipps as he hunts the Bluegrass State for his next buck.

We’re wrapping up September and moving on to bowhunting the month of October. But first, we jump in the tree with Todd Graf on his relentless quest to kill a trophy doe. He’s passed up several others as he’s been holding out for the big girl. Watch as the one he’s after finally shows up. Next we check in with Mike Fitzgerald for hunt updates in Minnesota as well as a visit with Josh Fletcher as he gives a report from his hunts in central Wisconsin.

We’re getting the deer season kicked off right in this episode with Paul Morrison traveling to Kentucky to hunt with Brandon Phipps for several of the Bluegrass bucks that Brandon has been keeping an eye on. Paul has a nice buck that slips in tight to his stand and gets the first whitetail buck of the year on ground for the BHOD team. We also check in with Richie Music as heads up to Wisconsin for the opener and lets an arrow fly on a doe to put meat in the freezer on opening weekend.

We’re mixing things up in this episode as we travel north to Ontario Canada with Mike Pearce to hunt black bears with his family. It’s a family adventure that will test Mike’s patience and persistence. In the end, he has a great opportunity at the bear he’s dreamed of. Next we head to Wisconsin for the opener with Todd Graf and Neal McCullough. Watch how their hunts go down as we kick off another exciting deer season with the BHOD crew.

We’re back out west this week for round 2 in Wyoming. Justin Zarr is up to bat this week as he tries to shake the monkey off his back after a 3-year streak without punching a buck tag. High temps and busted stalks make the first few days tough, but Zarr sticks with it and finally gets a crack at a great buck.  We then catch up with Paul Morrison as he shows some of the fine Ohio bucks he’ll be chasing this fall.

We’re kicking off the fall season with a road trip out west with Tim and Troy as they get things started chasing antelope in Wyoming. It’s a rollercoaster of a hunt with plenty of twists, turns, highs and lows. Watch how the guys handle some unique situations they encounter along the way. Next we catch up with BHOD team members, Mike Fitzgerald in Minnesota, and Dalton and Kent in Missouri for updates on their hit list plans for the fall season.

We’re ramping up for the upcoming season with a look at the bucks the BHOD team will be after this fall. Tyler Rector, Tim Ainsworth and Troy Spolum give us a look at the Illinois giants they’ll be chasing this year and then we’ll check in with Chad Stillman for a look at what he’s expecting in Wisconsin. Finally, we wrap up with Brandon Phipps and Dan Richardson for a look at their hit lists in Kentucky and Indiana.

Hot August days are here and the BHOD team is beating the off-season blues the best way they know how - bowfishing and bowhunting groundhogs. That’s right! We’re headed to Nebraska with Keith and Cal for a unique spin on bowfishing, as well as a trip to Indiana where Tim Conley sets up on a pesky groundhog to get revenge. We’ll also check in with John Herrmann, Justin Zarr and Neal McCullough for hit list updates.
