The biggest headline to come out of the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend was George Russell's dubious pole, controversially set under questionable safety standards.

Gaining pole proved a major advantage for George in securing his second race win of the season.

Max Verstappen looked hungry to taste success again as he went full send into the barriers during qualifying. He looked dangerous to George's lead until Red Bull strategised him out of contention. Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's momentum took a hit with a lacklustre performance. Arguably robbed of a front row lockout, both cars only dropped down the grid from there.

Oscar Piastri put together a solid race weekend at the Red Bull Ring and silenced all his critics from the previous Grand Prix. The Aussie looked confident, fast and happier in his McLaren, outperforming Lando Norris and moving into 4th place in the championship.

Lewis Hamilton comes out of Barcelona with his first Ferrari win!

The 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya GP gave us a thrilling battle of strategy and tyre management, and saw the 7x World Champion execute a perfect race plan to claim his 106th victory.

George Russell managed to finish in 2nd place and keep his title fight alive after Kimi Antonelli DNF'd (Right after passing the Brit).

The McLarens had a mixed weekend with a 3rd place to Lando Norris and a 5th place to Oscar Piastri. Oscar looks like he has no confidence in this year's car and is struggling to keep up with the front-runners.
