The book of Haggai closes with an encouraging reminder that we work because God is at work. We builkd into the lives of others becasue God is building his church.

We don't yet fully see the full impact of our discipling/building, but God has promised to bless.

From our perspective it doesn't look like much, "What difference can I make?" But, how does what you do look from God's perspective?

Discouragements and distractions can lead us to put our own purposes ahead of God's primary purpose for us: building his temple. In Haggai chapter 1 God pointedly calls his people to put first things first; how will they respond? How will we respond?

A survey through the Bible of temple as a place where God's people experience God's presence and blessing.
