On Episode 8 of BPerryFilms Podcast we will discuss strategies for getting out of debt. Today’s guest is Ronald P. In this podcast episode, Ronald will be sharing his $80,000 debt-free journey with his wife. We will also mention some tips and tricks to help you get financially on track. The goal of this video is to show that things that look impossible can be possible with discipline. There are many things that happen in our lives that hold us back from achieving the goals that we want to pursue but it is all about being intentional. In this story, he will be sharing debt free journey that he took while attending Dave Ramey’s Financial Peace University. He used a mix of the Snowball Method and the Avalanche Method.

To add context the Snowball method is when you work on the lowest debt to the highest debt. The Avalanche method is the highest interest or highest debt to the lowest. Both methods can be effective but with the Snowball method even though it seems like you are paying off your debt faster it turns out that you end up paying more in interest. It is important to talk to a financial advisor before attempting to make any changes. Figure out what method would work best for your needs and look for financial assistance in your local area.
