The damned stresses of dental school are things we are all too familiar with – but does it have to be so bad?

In this episode, Michelle Zhang from the University of Queensland tackles the tough issues of stress and procrastination. She is joined by final year student William Jin and third year student Lisa Zhu, to give practical tips they’ve personally used to make it through each year in one piece. To top it off, UQ Alumni and past president Dr Amanda Lin shares her pearls of wisdom about adapting to life beyond graduation and what it’s like working in the public sector.

Welcome to Brace Yourself – a podcast series created by the Australian Dental Students Association (ADSA) for all the dental and oral health students out there! In this episode, our Publications Officer (Natalie Tsang) gives us a taster on what this series is all about, how it is structured, as well as what’s to come in future episodes.  Our goal is to make your life in dentistry a tad bit easier by bringing you the fun, the hardships, the embarrassments and the educational experiences shared by your fellow peers and mentors across Australia.
