First, The plaintiff brings her dad to court and says he was a crackhead during most of her life. The plaintiff says the defendant offered to pay half of the deposit for the plaintiff to get braces. She claims the defendant never gave her the money, so she’s suing for breach of contract. The defendant admits he was a drug addict and alcoholic, but he’s been sober for 11 years. He denies owing her.

Then, The plaintiff dated the defendant, but then the defendant abruptly ended things. The plaintiff bought a Jeep for the defendant with the understanding the defendant’s dad would give the defendant money, but she hasn’t paid him, so he’s suing for the cost of a Jeep and tires. The defendant argues the plaintiff knew she didn’t have money to buy the car.
