584 A - Brad turns into a total jerk and disses John live on the air

May 5 2026 A Block

Brad hijacks B block to play a pre-recorded wrestling-style promo criticizing successful businessman Dave Greene. Using a concept consistent with toddler play therapy, Brad uses an imaginary friend ("Dick the Schmoozer") to express Brad's feeling of anger and resentment toward both Greene and Brad's co-host, John Combest.

John acknowledges Brad's angst, then attempts to redirect the conversation in a positive direction by thanking listeners for the tremendous volume of feedback on this week's shows. Rather than show appreciation for listeners (and/or appreciation for John) Brad remains mired in apathy and anger, complaining that "the website" saw decreased traffic this week. (Note: John is not responsible for driving traffic to "the website" and does not promote "the website" on John's social accounts.)

As with the start of A block - in which Brad refused to play the traditional Friday barbershop quartet intro - Brad chose bitterness and petulance, ending the show early.
