Coach Brad Gunter a Grinnell System Coach came on this episode of The Baskipedia Podcast. He has coached Varsity boys basketball at VCA for 19 years (took 5 years off and only coached baseball because my kids were young). Always a “run and gun” crazy type coach that followed Grinnell, but didn’t pull the trigger until 2011.   VCA has led CA in scoring, or near the top, in a couple years that we’ve ran it. Hit 33 3’s (33-109) in a game in 2014 (see CalHi Sports), and also had a game we attempted 121 3’s that year. Coach Gary Smith has been a asset for myself and my guys since I started running the Grinnell System. You’ll find him at VCA practices and games. Love that guy!
