Perhaps you’re a grandparent and, although you’ve been around your grandkids all of their lives, the truth is, you have no real relationship with them. You don’t even know them. And, honestly, you never have. What do you do?

If you’re not instantly available to just about everyone you know, and even many you don’t, you constantly feel the stress of someone possibly getting upset with you.

When it comes to technology, it’s time to change our strategy.

Whenever I speak to audiences about technology abuse, in response, I hear the same clichés over and over: It’s all about balance, I limit my child’s screen time, and Technology is neutral, it’s how you choose to use it. I’m sorry of you’ve used them but, those clichés are lies.

I wish I could file this episode of Techwise in the “wild conspiracy theory” category—but unfortunately, I can’t. It’s painfully true.

The next generation, GPT-4, is about to be unveiled, and MIT’s Technology Review’s headline should scare us: “GPT-4 is bigger and better than ChatGPT—but OpenAI won’t say why.”

The lack of transparency within the AI development community has many concerned—very concerned.

Typically, when we hear news about Artificial Intelligence, the news is scary—but not always.
