As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad.
Today, we get the opportunity to speak with Brad Smith, the CEO of Stellar Insight, a firm that is igniting business growth acceleration. For over 20 years, Brad has been coaching executives and business owners on finding ways for them to grow both personally and professionally.
What I love most about this episode is learning from a dad who has experienced so much! Brad opens up and shares a scary time when he had a bleeding ulcer (colitis) and the challenges he faced. Additionally, he was a dad who went through a divorce and was able to find positivity after that experience.
Brad talked about the power of apologizing to your kids and why anger is useless. It is just a waste of time, he says. We would later talk in-depth about self-awareness, be present, don't react, and always begin with the end in mind (Steven Covey).
